SUPREME COUNCIL OF THE UNITED STATES WESTERN MASONIC JURISDICTION 'Established in 1864'
The Supreme Council of the United States, its territories and dependencies (Western Masonic jurisdiction) is a regular
Scottish Rite Supreme Council established in New York City in 1864 by
Baron A. Hugo Debulow 33° of the Supreme Council of France
during its growth there have been many Supreme Council affixing their masonic association to the Illustrious Baron Auguste Hugo Debulow but these
Councils never gave Debulow's Council its rightful place in American
Scottish Rite History. You will find most of those Supreme Councils
would send its members to join our Supreme Council for motives of
attaching itself to the name and claiming they are the Debulow Supreme
Council, We are here to place all those various bodies to rest and
acknowledge the fact Baron Auguste Hugo Debulow of the Supreme Council
of France was the only verified Sovereign Grand Inspectors General gave American colored, white, and hispanic men the Scottish Rite in midst
of prejudice and injustice.
The
Supreme Council of the United States Western Jurisdiction has established many regional orients, grand lodges, adopted or affiliated organization in every
state in the United States. Many Supreme Councils and Orients of United States trace their roots to
us.
Our goal is to continue
to support masonic principles, as we govern ourselves accordingly. Let
us remember freemasonry is "The brotherhood of man under the fatherhood
of GOD". As you travel through this site, you share the luster of
knowledge found within its pages.
Fraternally,
W. T. Gray,III
W. T. Gray, III, 33° Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander
